Bride: Allie L.
Wedding Date: February 20, 2022
The Bride's Feedback: “Thank you so much for your beautiful message the morning of my wedding! The last week has been an absolute whirlwind of pure joy, but I genuinely enjoyed every moment! I received so many compliments on my gorgeous jewelry! The earrings you made for my Mom were outstanding and I felt like an even more beautiful bride because of the outstanding custom pieces you made that complemented my dress and look perfectly! I will send you some professional photos once I receive them! Thank you so much again!”
Details: The bride reached out to me and we began a dialogue discussing her dress style, how she was planning on wearing her hair, jewelry styles she has admired, and other significant details as to the vision she had for her special day.
The bustline of her dress is a sweetheart style, so I chose to design a drop pendant style necklace that would complement her decollette and the cut of the dress. Of course the necklace would match the earrings that I designed that were specific to Allie as she was going to wear her hair down, and requested earrings that would be “noticed” as she has long, dark hair.
I decided on using high quality cubic zirconias and natural pearls combined with sterling silver in the set. I felt that Allie would be able to wear both the earrings and necklace again- individually or together for years to come.
In addition to designing the Bride’s jewelry set, Allie requested that I create a custom pair of earrings for her Mom. I spoke with her mother, prior to designing the pair, and learned of her ideas as far as design, style, length, and comfortability. Her mother was also choosing to wear her hair down, so needed a pair of earrings that would be noticeable- and originally it was undecided if she would wear a necklace or not. That was a game day decision. Her mother’s earrings are comprised of varying Swarovski crystals, sterling silver, and cubic zirconias. Her mother specifically requested lever back earring wires for added security on the special day.
