Details: Robin discovered me and my work by visiting The Pagio Gallery. She had admired several cuff bracelets, but did not make any purchases her initial visit. Robin returned to the Gallery a couple of weeks later to inquire about a cuff she admired and felt would complement her dress, but it had sold. I shared with Robin that I provide custom designs and we discussed the details of the event and her look. Robin sent me a photo of her dress and statement earrings that she had already purchased. She was interested in having a cuff bracelet designed that would complement the dress and earrings.

I provided her with pictures of varying beads, stones and pearls that could be used and she selected the color combination that she felt would work best.

Robin’s dress is black, floor length and tiered. Throughout the dress there are countless gold colored boxes. The earrings she previously purchased look to be several gold vermeil boxes that have a hint of blue in the crystal center adornment. They are long and have rhinestone embellishments in them.

The cuff I designed is one that will complement her dress and earrings perfectly, but can easily be worn after the special occassion.

I utilized black onyx, bronze, vermeil, olive colored freshwater pearls- which have a gold hue in them- sterling silver and brass. The center pieces spin and move- and this was intentionally done to meld nicely with the gold boxes in the dress that also have movement in them.
