Bride: Lori B.
Wedding Date: 09/10/2022
Details: Friends and life partners, Lori and Elisa decided it was time to make their relationship legal in the State of NY. And these fabulous ladies chose to not tell anyone that they were getting married! Instead, they sent an evite inviting their guests to their beautiful home for a house party! Guests arrived to a fabulous backyard event that was catered, had a dj, percussionist, open bar, lounge areas and a raised and lit dance floor covering the pool. A little while into the event, Lori and Elisa gathered everyone toward the dance floor area and took the mic sharing their thanks for everyone attending. They then surprised the crowd by announcing that they were getting married right then! The Rabbi appeared and their daughters held the Chuppah they stood under.
Before the Special Occassion: Lori had me previously design a necklace and earrings for one of her daughters using a strand of pearls that were formerly her Mothers. I had several left over and Lori asked me to hold onto them. When it came time that they decided on their union, Lori reached out and requested that I make several pieces using the same pearls for the special people in their lives. Lori requested that I make 6 pais of “Bridesmaid” earrings- one pair for each daughter of theirs (they have 6 daughters between them), a pair of earrings for her best friend of 35 years, a bracelet for Elisa, and a pair of “party” earrings for her. Lori send me a picture of the dress she would be wearing from the occassion, some color requests, and we discussed some options of components and design ideas I had.
Everything turned out perfectly and both women were very pleased with all of the jewelry that I made for them!

October 2022: Lori and her wife then celebrated the wedding of one of their daughters. Lori wore her bridal earrings for the event and asked me to design a statement bracelet to accompany her beautiful velvet gown. Lori had pearls from another necklace that had broken that she asked me to use and then add complementing stones and elements as necessary. The result was a multistrand bracelet that completed her jewelry for the special occassion!
