Details: Cathy has been a client of mine for several years now. She contacted me in March of this year to discuss her son’s wedding and we discussed custom jewelry options, looks, and style. I waited until the end of August 2023 to create her jewelry set as Cathy was not 100% she was going to wear the dress she initially purchased and showed me in March.

Cathy did wind up keeping her beautiful gown and had it altered to meet her needs. The dress is a beautiful dark blue color. Floor length with capped sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. The bodice is embellished with silver colored small floral designs and dark blue crystal flatbacks. The skirt is flowy, but is contoured to her slim silouette. It is layered and they diagonally overlap one another to the floor. Sparkly dark blue kitten heel shoes.

I designed a 6 strand, braided, statement necklace for her. Using ivory and silver colored freshwater pearls, faceted 1x2 mm henatite, varying blue colored Swarovski crystal beads, and sterling silver beads. I used a slide tube clasp- which ensures a firm closure and the necklace lays properly across the neckline. The necklace measures 18” long. Earrings are rhodium plated sterling silver, cz embellished, floral designed posts. There is a 13mm pearl shell drop bead. Simple, exquisite, and they do not complete with the statement necklace. Cathy will be able to wear these pieces as a set or individually after the special event.
